The LGBTIQ Legal Service is supported by a number of fantastic volunteer law students, graduates and experienced lawyers. Our volunteers assist with paralegal duties, legal research, law reform submissions and at our big community events such as Midsumma and Law Week. If you’d like to register your interest in becoming an LGBTIQ Legal Service volunteer, get in touch.
We are also very grateful to the private legal sector for their ongoing support of the LGBTIQ Legal Service. If you are a solicitor or barrister who would be interested in accepting the occasional pro bono brief, please get in touch.
The LGBTIQ Legal Service is a pilot project kindly funded by one-off grants from the Victoria Law Foundation, Victorian Government and the City of Melbourne. In order to continue our vital work in the community, ongoing financial support is essential.
If you believe in the services we provide and want to ensure continued legal support and advocacy for LGBTIQ people living in Victoria, please donate today. All donations over $2 are tax deductible.Donate
